A Leader Among Us

Laurie-team

Leaders who inspire others to get better are rare. Couple this unique trait with loyalty, and you have a winner on your hands. Meet Laurie March, who has made an indelible impact and contribution to our Montessori schools for over a decade. After over twenty years of service to the US Air Force, Laurie found her calling in education. She started her career with us as a parent volunteer, then as an assistant in the classroom and finally answered the call to lead the school. What sets her apart is her ability to inspire others around her to get better.

Her love for children, and concern for the parents and her team, take precedence over just about everything else. Over the years, Laurie has championed the cause for others in need – mobilizing our Montessori community to raise money for children with cancer, heading up our relay for life initiative, and giving selflessly of herself and her families time and resources.

A tireless worker, Laurie leads by example. One has to often remind her to go home at the end of the day. Such passion and commitment are unique. Since she rarely seeks accolades for herself, I thought this ‘shout-out’ is well deserved.

Thank you for your service, and for making us the best at what we do.
