First Nurture, Then Teach

It is an exciting and a busy time with the start of the new academic year. I coach my team of teachers, that nurturing and making a child comfortable at school always come first. Then we focus on Montessori learning.

Our beautiful children can only learn once they are comfortable in their new setting, and adapt to their new environment. Our theme for this year is to “develop the whole child”. We are responsible to help our children with their social, cognitive and emotional development, and enhance it through the Montessori learning method. The goal is to build a foundation for life long learning.

In the short run, as their “other mothers” we have to worry about whether they ate their lunch properly? Are they learning to make friends? Did they visit the toilet in time and washed their hands? Are they safe and happy? Holding their pencil correctly is phase two! The list is never ending, as it truly takes a village to raise a child.

We love our children. Every child is unique and so are their needs. I make it a point to have an independent relationship with every single child at all the schools.

Our hearts have boundless love to give to our little people, and they reciprocate in so many innumerable ways.
