Today was an exciting day as we kicked off our 15th academic year. It was a pleasure to welcome the new children and hug the returning ones. Day 1 went went off smoothly. Yes, it will take time for the children to settle into their routines. Parents are teary eyed to leave their precious children with us. Everybody is anxious and nervous in a good way. Time to make new friends and explore new lessons.
Today was a”set the tone” for the new year. Our theme for this year is to “follow the child.” Everything we do is about them, for them, with them in mind.
We love the beautiful happy faces and compliment each child on their new lunch boxes, cubbies and belongings. They are our children and we are blessed to have them.
What an honor. What a journey.
