This random quote I stumbled upon today resonates with me this holiday season. Often we are hard on those we love the most — children, spouses, parents.

My commitment this holiday season is to not focus on perfection, but to practice gentle kindness to those in my world, and even to total strangers.

One does not need to spend money to put a smile in someone’s heart, all one needs is a touch of kindness.
