As I get older, I realize I have become more patient, more accommodating and less judgmental about life in general.
No jumping to impulsive conclusions and flying off the handle. I now internalize and rationalize the situation in my head.
Whether it is dealing with children’s’ parents or staff at school, I listen more, speak less and I am more patient.
The grey hair does bring wisdom. People have a right to speak their heart out, our job is to patiently hear them out. Besides, I try not to sweat the small stuff. It serves no purpose. Besides, life is too short.
