A quick note to those who are too kind, even at the expense of organizational discord. When we follow our heart, and let our kindness get in the way of efficiency and effectiveness, everyone loses.
Please don’t stop being kind. Just ensure that your kindness is directed at the right people, in the right doses, under the right circumstances. When we are kind to the wrong people, for the wrong reasons, the good people suffer. And that is never a good thing.
