One universal truth that exists without doubt is that the airline industry collectively ‘sucks’ at any attempts at reasonable service.
Peru is no exception. Long delays, no place to sit, almost no food – except for the proverbial box of Pringles – and no respect for other peoples time.
Picture this — about 50 people waiting in line, hungry, tired, boarding passes in hand, and we can’t check in our bags. To add insult to injury, there are 4 people behind the counter waiting for the clock to strike eight. There is no Cinderella story here. Just a lack of respect.
Can someone tell American Airlines this is NOT how business should be done. I will even offer my consulting services for free.
Glad to get that off my chest. Time for a cocktail, and some food. And that long flight home.
