It has been 17 years since my Dad left me to walk the heavens. The pain of his passing is as real and as vivid, as it has ever been. I have often referred to him as my hero. He taught me the “right” way to be a husband, a father, a son, and a professional. He led by example.
To him, I owe a debt of gratitude for not only believing in me, but making the emotional and financial sacrifices that allowed me to pursue my dreams. How often do people do that? Put their own dreams on hold, so that their children can live theirs?
I miss you Dad. I will continue to follow your example in every aspect of my life. Watch over us, and Rest In Peace.
