A nine year old child, a high school football player, a nurse, a doctor, a world class chef, moms, dads, and loved ones: all part of the 200,000 Americans who have succumbed to the Corona virus. We must look beyond the number, to the lives it represents and the families that are left behind.
My advice to any leader who still tries to spin this loss – shut up for once. Pay homage to those that died, and grieve with those they left behind. For once, be human. I wonder how they might react, were it a daughter or a son waiting to be buried? Shame on them for their incompetence.
Today, I send my heartfelt condolences to the loved ones of those that died. The most tragic part is that many of these lives could have been saved.
Rest well good people. Rest In Peace.
