She must be a Saint. Or madly in love with me. That is the only plausible explanation as to why Rohini has put up with me all these years. Tomorrow we celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary, and I clearly got the better end of this deal.
She has taught me about kindness, and compassion; about generosity of spirit and about taking care of those less fortunate. And she has done this through example, and by the life she lives.
She has taught me to find happiness in simple things — gardens and dogs, and quiet Sunday walks.
Maybe our forever love will continue to blossom with the blessings of the good God above. I can’t imagine my life without her. Cheers to the next 27!
