It has been a nostalgic journey down memory lane as I start my 28th year at The University of Tampa. The memories are vivid. The journey, not the easiest at times, yet fulfilling in so many ways.

The difference has been the people — my family, my friends, and my students. The brash me of years ago has sobered into a wiser man. My perspective on life has certainly changed. Age, grey hair and deep loss has created a unique landscape that defines the new me.

I am blessed to do what I love, at a place I love. My focus has shifted to inspired teaching and inspired learning. My classroom is my temple, and the work that lies ahead is divine in so many ways. Time to get to work!
