There has got be a mistake. When I started in 1990, I didn’t think I would last 36 months at UTAMPA (UT). Now I celebrate 32 years under my belt at a university I love. I have been blessed to call UT home. The young guy who came in with a brash and brazen attitude is now a seasoned vet with institutional knowledge and wisdom that comes with time.
I am probably having more fun with my calling as a teacher than at any other point in my life. I have great friends and leadership that allows me to “do my thing”. The growth and success of my students are still my ultimate calling. Today I salute the thousands that sat in my classes that make this journey worthwhile. They have given more meaning to my life than they can ever imagine.
