Today we celebrated Ranjana’s special birthday. It was a gentle reminder to not take anything for granted, and to make very moment count.
My sister has fought cancer with a single minded focus and a resolve of steel. It takes a loving family, incredible fortitude and a little bit of divine intervention to fight the good fight.
Today, however, was focused on celebrating her indelible spirit and her special day. There will be many more to celebrate — and we will get there one day at a time.
