I spent a few hours this afternoon at the Sweet Dream Amaryllis farm. A few thousand potted lily bulbs and flowers created a haven of nature with their vibrant colors and lush greenery.
Shelly, the owner, gave me a guided tour. She was patiently teaching, explaining, and sharing her passion for her life’s work. I was still preoccupied with my friend, Judi, and the farm and flowers were a beautiful reminder of hope that springs eternal.
As I left, Shelly gave me a big hug, and a gorgeous red Amaryllis named Judith. It was almost like a sign from above, that eventually, all will be well.
