Bad Choices, Bad Outcomes

We are creatures of habit, and seldom thoroughly consider the consequences of our actions. We are all guilty of making bad choices at some point in our lives — the people we hire; the people we trust who let us down; that last drink we should probably avoid, before we get behind the wheel. Few of us are bad people. Most of us are good people who make bad decisions. And then we have to live with the results of our choices.

Unfortunately, bad choices have bad consequences. Period. There are rarely any second chances.

Some of us learn from our mistakes, and some of us never learn. The difference? Smart people never make the same mistake twice. Are you one of these smart people? Or can you be as stupid as me? I never seem to learn. Maybe because I believe in the inherent goodness in people.
