My eyes scanned the sea of people getting off the airport tram and heading towards the exit. I saw Rohini navigating through the mass of humanity, luggage piled high. Her tiny frame lost in the crowd of people, and bags, moving with urgency.
I didn’t realize how much I had missed her till I saw her. She is home. Balance is restored. The dogs are happy, stress has left the building, and my little world is in harmony.
Why do we realize how important people are to our lives only when they are gone? For now I will treasure our time together, and simply love on her like there is no tomorrow.
At the end of the day, life is about creating extraordinary experiences for the people we love. Make every day count, like it’s your last.
