Too often, we are reluctant to address points of failure, because we are scared to hurt peoples’ feelings. The only people who walk away disappointed is us.
New rules for 2019. Catch the bull by the horns. Address points of failure, and discontent, head on — without worrying about “how they feel”. If one of us is going to feel bad about something, I’d much rather it be them than me!
There is therapeutic pleasure in speaking one’s mind. And it’s not a good idea to deprive ourselves of therapy and it’s many gifts.
