Celebrate Each Other

The UPS trucks need a break from the countless home deliveries from Amazon. The homes are decorated, and the presents are wrapped, and under the tree.

Last minute Santa lists are tottering to the finish line as the procrastinators among us are frantically hitting the stores to scoop up what’s left on the shelves.

However, we must keep our eye on the ball. The holidays are for celebrating each other. For counting our blessings. For long walks, and silly card games. For laughter and cheer and tears of joy, that stem from hearts that overflow with gratitude. For basking in the ordinary to celebrate our lives and our loves that are special in multiple ways.

Enjoy the holidays. Make it less about things and more about experiences. When we celebrate each other, we bring out the best of the human spirit — and that is not something we can buy with a credit card. Happy Holidays!
