Now that Valentine’s Day is in the rear-view mirror, the challenge to love each other every day looks us square in the eye. Love is not an annual calling fueled by roses and chocolates, or dinner at an overpriced restaurant. Love is about treating each other with kindness; about a soft touch and a warm embrace when life comes calling.
I have learnt that we must love unconditionally and forgive easily. We must learn to put our egos on hold and engulf ourselves in the comfort of being wanted; needed; loved. There is a certain security that comes from the simplicity of effortless relationships and the ability to say a lot, without uttering a word. I hope we all find this special kind of love, and are lucky to celebrate it every single day.
