Change is Good

CHANGE-IS-GOOD

We are all familiar with the notion that the only thing that is constant is change. Then why do we resist change, as we bask in our individual comfort zones? Whether it is changing behavior, relationships, or stepping out to try new ways of thinking about old problems, we fight to maintain the status quo.

Making bad personal and professional decisions, has been for me, an art form. As I have gotten older I have learned to put my ego on hold, admit that I am wrong, and make necessary changes. Making poor decisions and wrong choices, makes us human. Rectifying our errors and keeping an open mind to initiate meaningful change is a true sign of intelligence.

It takes a certain degree of mental fortitude to admit that misguided decisions have gone amiss. I have learned, the hard way, that changing your mind can sometimes change your life. I wish I had made some of those choices earlier in my life.
