Chirp, Chirp

Two tiny sparrows have built a small nest in our garage. The babies chirp when they are hungry. We see the mommy birds flying in with little worms in their beaks to feed the babies.

They wait patiently for the garage to open in the morning and fly in and out all day long checking in constantly on their precious babies.

I love this aspect of nature. The nurturing and protective instinct of a species. Raising and protecting their young with a watchful eye.

In all these troubled times, the joy of life and little baby birds has been surprisingly up-lifting.  They don’t care about the chaos in our world. They care about survival, and each other. What a beautiful life lesson from the birds.
