Civility Lost

When did we lose our manners as a nation? When did courtesy and politeness and civility become the exception rather than the norm?

We owe it to our children and to the new young generation to lead by example — to treat each other with dignity and respect. We can disagree on just about everything, as long as we learn to play nice in the same sandbox. 

As TD Jakes eloquently states, “I think it is important that we rebuild an atmosphere of forgiveness and civility in every aspect of our lives.”
