Closure

She heads home to pay her respects to her father in his final resting place. She can’t wait to hug an elderly mom who is battling her own demons.  She must go back to her roots to grieve at her fathers grave, and come to closure on some unfinished business.  

When we don’t come to closure with life’s major rites of passage, the heaviness in our hearts gnaws at our psyche and our minds.  It is difficult to move forward when we can’t come to terms with those that we leave behind. And we can’t live well when we can’t make peace with ourselves.

    So profoundly important and necessary to pay respect to those who helped shape who we are and in large measure pointed us toward our destiny. This life event cannot be left as a question mark or period but a semicolon which means although the first sentence is completed, the following sentence is how we live our lives to honor their memory.
