Commencement 2014

graduation

The rites of passage continue, as over a 1,000 graduates move on into the ‘real world’. New beginnings, new aspirations, new insecurities.

Ariel Acosta-Rubio (Class of 1984), a simple man, spoke with conviction and his message was succinct, yet packed a punch.

Embrace failure, it’s step one to success.

Dream the big dream. Nothing happens without it.

Seek balance in your life. Work. Family. Life.

And finally, he spoke reflectively about the importance of seeing things with the heart. Our inability to do so can render us blind.
Thoughtful words, from a thoughtful man.

Insightful. Profound. Powerful.
