Compassion

The kindness of strangers can tug at the heartstrings. I am often touched by the compassion of those that we don’t know. Those that have no ulterior motive. No agenda. Nothing to gain. They catch us by surprise, and touch our hearts in special ways. 

It’s a good life lesson. Put a smile on the face of someone who you will probably never see again. Maybe you will restore their faith in the human spirit. Or simply, just brighten an ordinary day. There is no better time to do that than right now. Pay it forward. It will come back ten fold. It always does.
