A big jumbo jet disappears in mid-flight. The pundits explore the conspiracy theories that run the gamut from a hijacking to a deliberate disappearance. The accident theory has lost credence, even though the plane has been missing for more than a week.
Somewhere lost in this media circus are the lives of the 239 people on board.
Time to reflect on the plight of those lost souls and the engulfing sorrow that is the reality of those that loved them, as they seek answers and closure.
Unfortunately, bad news makes compelling stories and we get desensitized to the human loss of individual lives. Take a minute to say a silent prayer for those who are lost, and for those who learn to live without them.
