I often find that I am the one reaching for my wallet when it comes time to settle the bill. I love the GEICO commercial where the crocodile’s arms come in to play. Too short to reach for the check, yet long enough to chow down.
There are those among us that rarely reach for our wallets, even when we extend the invitation. Students, and those younger than us are exempt. The message for the others — everyone sees through your act. Next time you belly up to the bar, lean over a tad more, so it’s easier to get to that wallet.
