They die in isolation, oblivious to the impending doom. They die alone, hooked up to machines and without their final good byes. They leave behind broken hearts and broken dreams. And unimaginable grief.
These are difficult times. And the finality of death is unforgiving and stark. No do overs. No time for that last touch, that last kiss, that last look.
Life in all its splendor, is so beautiful, and yet, can be so cruel. Death changes lives like nothing else. Today, a silent prayer for those that succumbed to this evil disease, and for those they left behind to grieve.
