Divisive Rhetoric

We live in a volatile world, fueled by divisive political rhetoric. Unfortunately, this has real, tragic outcomes. Case in point, the recent massacre in New Zealand. Murder fueled by hate.

I have been blessed to live in this beautiful country for over 30 years. And we are more divided as a nation today, than any other point in my time here.

Hate is up. Tolerance is down. Race, ethnicity and differences in political ideology have created a great divide that borders on the unhealthy.

Whatever happened to live and let live? To acceptance and celebration of diversity? What kind of world will we leave for our children? Want to see an integrated environment where love blossoms? Come to our Montessori schools.

See our children at work, and at play. The innocence of childhood creates love and acceptance and total abandon. Maybe, in some strange way, we all need to go back to school. And re-learn the rules of acceptance, and harmony, all over again.
