Diwali

This was a difficulty Diwali, as I suffered through the loss of my brother, my friend Judi, and a dear friend suffered through the loss of her father. There were tears and heartbreak, yet there was hope and love.

The festivities though subdued, were spiritual and good for the soul — reflective and filled with gratitude for what still remains, and the love of family.

The thing about loss, is that while it changes our perspective, we must continue to live for those that are here and those that love us. How else will we ever have new beginnings?
