This may come as a surprise to you, but making money is the wrong reason to start and operate a business. If that is the only motivation, more likely than not, failure is around the corner. Profitability is the result of focusing on your reason for being. The mighty dollar should not your reason for existence.
The directive is simple. “Do the right thing, for the right people, for the right reason.”
And the money will come. Chasing the dollar is a little bit like my puppy, Molly, chasing her tale. She usually falls on her face. It is just not as funny when an adult face meets the floor.
