I have tremendous respect for “Out of the Box” thinkers. Meet Vineet Nayar, CEO of HCL Technologies in India, who has taken his company to soaring heights using the “employee first, customers second” mantra. His book by the same name articulates his journey.
He believes in eliminating barriers by dancing with his employees, and creating a culture of accountability and common purpose. I will have the privilege to listen to this management guru at the upcoming AACSB global conference. Mr. Nayar has been voted as one of the top 50 most influential management minds by Harvard Business Review.
I have always maintained that taking care of your people and treating them as internal customers of the organization is critical to developing and capturing human capital. The thought of putting the employees first is worthy of consideration.
Now why can’t I come up with such brilliant ideas?
