Human nature is predictable, yet it never fails to surprise us. The tendency is to envy, with a sprinkle of jealousy, the success of others. Especially if it concerns those that are outside the inner circle.
Dad was a wise man. He taught us that there are few that want to genuinely celebrate our success. He taught us to keep the good news in the family, and to celebrate quietly. Our fast paced tech world makes that difficult to do today, but I do believe in good Karma.
Not sure we will ever change human behavior, but sending good vibes into the Universe always brings good things our way.
