We gather in places of worship and pray for the departed. We sing the praises of the men and women who have left us, celebrating their virtues and the very essence of their lives.
I think we should not wait for people to pass. I think we should eulogize the living. I think we should tell our family and our loved ones how special they are, every day of the week. I think we should celebrate love and the impact of these great people in our every day lives.
Maybe then, we might spread more love and compassion. Take every chance you get, a to tell those you love, that you love them. That way, you won’t be talking to the walls of a place of worship, when it’s too late.
