Today Dr. Canody, a leading Pediatrician with BAYCARE Health, was the expert authority at our town hall on children and the virus. Brilliant work, by a brilliant lady. She educated, informed, and reassured. She alleviated concerns, shared the facts, and answered questions with empathy and expert insight.
I got a note from a lady who helps manage the schools: “Tonight, as a parent, I truly appreciate what you both do every day to ensure the safety and health of our children. Tonight’s town hall should speak volumes to the parents of your schools how important the children, their families and your staff are to you.”
I was moved by the sentiment, as it is the underlying motivation behind our schools. At the end of the day, business is all about people. Now why is that so few people get that?
