Life in business often puts us on a ‘hamster wheel”, where we move as fast as we can, yet we still seem to stay in the same place. It’s a good idea to step off the wheel, catch your breath, and look introspectively at your journey. It is not a bad idea to have external parties evaluate your work – objectively.
Tomorrow, COGNIA arrives to accredit our schools and to validate our quality. Some on my team are nervous. I am super confident that we will set new standards for excellence. In our world, my team brings their “A” game every day. They are dedicated educators that have bought into our culture and are now part of the tribe. For us, as a team, excellence is a journey and not a destination.
The schools are looking immaculate, and the self-study is bound and ready. And yes, like most households, our closets are a mess. We are not perfect – far from it, but I will bet on my team every day of the week, and twice on Sundays! Bring it on…….
