For some of us, the fear of failure can be a greater motivator than the will to succeed. When the chips are down, and the naysayers come calling, we have to dig deep to prove to ourselves that we can deliver on the promise.
There are those that would love to see us fail, as much the believers in our lives who want to see us thrive. That’s the crazy part about human behavior — for the most part, mediocre people want to see us wallow in mediocrity, so that they can bask in the glow of their ordinary lives.
