The past few days, when I hit the road, I have spent an inordinate amount of time looking at the driving habits of people behind the wheel. A scary majority of them are on their cell phones. Texting, and talking on their phones, jeopardizing their own lives, and the lives of others who are trying to survive our concrete jungle.
Get with the program folks. There is nothing that important that can’t wait, till you step out of the car. Moms and Dads, spouses and children, eagerly await your return to the safe haven of home.
Don’t make your loved ones drive to the morgue. It’s a cold, lonely place. And their is no coming back….
