Life is Short

Life is too short to drink bad wine, and certainly too short to drink no wine at all. Yesterday we celebrated National Wine Day. Nothing new here — in our home we seem to be celebrating it every day!
As I have gotten older, I have become a social recluse. Outside of work, I relish the solitude. Quiet time with my bride and my dogs. The days of fancy restaurants are few and far between. I prefer a nice vintage, and quiet evenings with the girl I love.
Sometimes, our happiest moments are when we do little and bask in the ordinary. Cheers to more moments like these……
