From the Archives — August 2016

The following post is from the blog archives from a year ago (originally published on August 17, 2016 http://www.5oclockreflections.com/plan-with-purpose-2/).

Action without planning is a little bit like throwing mud against a wall. Eventually something will stick.

Planning without action is an exercise in futility. A little bit like the hamster at our Montessori preschool — the little guy moves fast on the hamster wheel, but always stays in the same place.

Effective planning is an art. And when it all comes together, the masterpiece is a thing of beauty.
