From the Archives — July 2015

The following post is from the blog archives from a year ago (originally published on July 15, 2015 http://www.5oclockreflections.com/lunatics-in-the-asylum/).

lunatic

Sometimes, others hold us hostage.

Disruptive, over demanding students.
Long tenured employees who refuse to toe the line any longer, and behave that they know it all.
Nurses who lose empathy for the patients they are trained to care for and help.

We sit back and watch with quiet desperation.
The tendency is to put up with negative forces, because confrontation is not part of our DNA.

That’s when we become part of the problem. Catch the bull by the horns and stop this nonsense Now. Simple advice — don’t let the lunatics run the asylum.
