Grades Don’t Count

“I really need that “A” Dr. R.  Or it’s going to kill my GPA.”  News for you Kid — Grades don’t count.

What counts is grit, hustle, execution and a  laser focus on getting stuff done.  Skills are important, as is intellect. What’s more important, however, is kindness and compassion, emotional intelligence, and empathy. And a thirst for getting stuff done.

You can make the grade, without getting good grades.  Trust me.  It’s been the story of my life.
