Hippocratic Hypocrisy

Medical doctors the world over take the hippocratic oath to serve and protect the ill, and to make decisions in the best interest of the patients.  The oath says more about compassion and care and nothing about money and riches.

And that’s where the hypocrisy comes in — hidden costs, unexplained benefits, over priced medicine. Rich doctors with overflowing coffers that are busting at the seams.

The rich get richer and the patients deal with expensive care that, in most cases, makes no sense, represents over billing and poor value. It is bait and switch at its finest.

Ever tried deciphering a medical bill? Good luck figuring out the nuances of the charges. You need even better luck to to be able to reach someone who can help.

It does not have to be this way. The sick and those in medical need don’t have the energy to fight the insurance companies and the hospitals.  The medical establishment continues to rake it in at every chance they get. Be careful — the tables can turn on a dime.
