Meet Hitika. Loyal, smart, tenacious and kind. We rarely meet people who embody all these qualities in one person. Don’t let her kindness fool you — she is also tough as nails.
Maybe we have too much history and a common culture. Rohini was her teacher in India ions ago. Now, she runs one of our schools with a fierce loyalty and sense of ownership one can’t teach. She belongs to the tribe and is family, in more ways than one.
She moved up through the ranks, at the schools, very quickly — a true testament to her intellect and work ethic. She embodies a generosity of spirit and likes to color just outside the lines. I love that about her. She can also be a little bit of a brat, but I love that about her too.
Hitika has bought into the vision of our cause and loves Rohini like an older sister. We are lucky to have her lead one of our ships. And I know in my heart and head, that she is here to stay. That is the true beauty of family.
