HOLY COW — 25 YEARS!

25th-anniversary

I consider myself to be the most difficult person in the world to live with. My close friends, who know me well, concur. Rohini brought order, and balance to my whacky world. It’s been a wonderful 25 years of marital bliss, with our best years ahead.

Like any marriage, we have lived poor with very little money, rolled through the good times, battled the crises, and emerged stronger and closer than ever before. She claims that it took her almost 20 years to “train” me. Who am I too argue with her?

Rohini has taught me to find pleasure in the simple things, to love dogs, to be more patient and to do more for the less fortunate. Most importantly, she gave me the two most important reasons that are the essence of my being — my children, Jasmine and Rohan. All in all, she has made me a better human being.

We agreed very early in our marriage, that to grow as a couple, we must let each other grow as individuals. I get to travel around the world, and play as much golf as time allows. She loves running, her garden, and her pets.  We respect each other and give each other space. Always encouraging each other to achieve our potential.

Love has a strange way to want you to do things to make the other person happy. I want to spend the rest of my life doing that — for her!
