Homeward Bound

There is nothing like coming home to the comfort of the familiar and the safe haven of family.   Getting to sleep in my own bed, is a blessing — though I admit I am not looking forward to fighting with the dogs for my space.

Porto was beautiful.  The medieval look and feel of the town was that of an era long gone.  The architecture was brilliant, the wine good, and the people had soul.  I have a sense I will go back soon.

It is always satisfying to travel to explore the world after the Covid nightmare of the past two years. However, it is even more satisfying to make my way home, to my family, and the people I love.
