He walked out of the clinic with a noticeable sigh of relief after receiving his first dose of the COVID vaccine. The nurses and admin team cheered him on. I guess, it pays to be old(er).
The vaccine brings with it hope and the possibilities that life will be back to normal — maybe a new normal. Not sure we will ever go back to exactly the way it was. Too many people have died and too many have suffered the economic and social consequences of the incompetence of those in charge.
I loved the meme which said that implementing the vaccination plan should be handed over to Amazon. That way everyone will get a shot by Thursday, unless you are a prime member — then you will get it by tomorrow!
The skeptics still exist, as many question the validity and efficacy of the vaccine. I certainly can’t wait till it’s my turn to get the shot. We will hopefully return to normal — one arm at a time.
