‘Tis the season for giving to those left fortunate, and certainly to those who anchor the success of small and large businesses alike. Time to celebrate the season, not by buying more, but by doing more for others. Make it count by paying it forward.
The key is to touch a life in a positive way and to spread the cheer. As a token of our appreciation, Rohini and I wrote holiday checks to our entire team — all 50 strong. I was touched by how the smallest gestures have the greatest impact. The big hugs, the moist eyes, the ear to ear smiles, the looks of total disbelief, and the proverbial spring in the step were extremely rewarding. My heart is still smiling as I write these words.
The success of this holiday season should be driven by the number of hearts you touch, not by the number of presents under your tree.
Pay it forward and remember — if it doesn’t jingle, it doesn’t count!
