Inner Discipline

I watched a Tom Brady news conference where he articulated his innate drive to be the best — to work hard each day to get better, and excel at his craft.

He is clearly not driven by money or fame or fortune.  He has all that. Then where does he, or people like him, find the inner discipline and work ethic to strive for perfection? That is the million dollar question.

I too work hard, and yes, I too lean on a higher calling to teach and touch lives in positive ways, but I seem to lack the inner discipline to meet all my goals.  I must work harder, with a deeper sense of focus.

Do you have that drive? Are you willing to make the necessary sacrifices to be the best at what you do? Time to do some soul searching.
