Keep Your Focus

Too many companies try to be all things, to all people. Terms such as “integrated solutions” and “one stop shop” have come to mean that we make it up as we go along, because we really don’t have any focus. “Yes, we can do that too”, is not smart business. The word “NO” goes a long way in creating meaningful focus.

Figure out what you do, and do it better than anyone else in your competitive space.

That’s the key to success. Good business is as much about walking away from the wrong opportunities, as it is about going after the ones that make sense.

Being an expert in everything, means you excel at nothing.
